Over at CraneFactory.com I’ve written a quick guide to setting up a Spellr.us scan of your website to detect and report spelling mistakes. This is a great service, free to use if you’re just a small blog or website, and is made by Australian software company Melon Media.
If you’re anything like me and you bash out the blog posts with often only a quick review before publishing then you’ll appreciate Spellr.us finding your mistakes for you. They’ve been in beta until a few days ago when they officially launched at the TechCrunch50 conference.

Sign up for a Spellr.us account and stay on top of spelling mistakes on your blog. And give my post a Digg too if you like.
The Microsoft Windows Virtualization Product Group announced the launch of the new Virtualization Feed, an aggregation of 18 independent and 14 Microsoft bloggers who write about virtualization.
If virtualization is your bag of nuts then you should subscribe now.
I’m not a big fan of search engines that can’t return good results . The new Cuil search engine has been launched, developed by ex-Google engineers, and I’m disappointed so far .
Do the people at Microsoft realise that Google is better for finding stuff on the Microsoft website than their own search engine? Google, first result is spot on. Live Search, a whole bunch of crap.

I’m taking a break from my normal posting about Exchange servers to announce the launch of my new website www.cranefactory.com.

Crane Factory is a website all about web development, WordPress, and blogging. These are hobbies as opposed to my day job which inspires most of the content here. I’ll be posting regularly on how to get the most out of WordPress for everyone from beginners to experienced users using practical examples, and even including some of my own WordPress themes that I am developing.
